Arts and Crafts

The Arts and Crafts Division is primarily responsible for the coordination, preservation, development, promotion of the  arts. To achieve this, the Division has three sections as follows

Arts development and Promotion, which is responsible for the development, presentation and promotion of arts.

Arts Research, which conducts and/or coordinates research for the arts and culture sector.

Arts Education and Outreach, which provides education and outreach services. The section has the following outreach centres; 

Blantyre Cultural Centre

Formerly the French Cultural Centre, Blantyre Cultural Centre has been the hub of entertainment in Blantyre. Located at the heart of Blantyre City, the facility has been known to host memorable fine and performing arts performances. The facility is available upon booking.
